The Receptionist is a vital ally for the technicians and therapists, ensuring they are all set up for success for their services and can deliver amazing treatments to all of our spa clientele.

Responsibilities:

• Provide guidance to clients on the spa experience

• Educate clients on the menu of services, making suggestions as to what services would be best for the client based on the needs they’ve communicated to you via phone

• Exemplary customer service while answering phones is a must

• Keep the reception area clean and products straightened at all times

• Introduce new beauty products to clients and educate them on their uses and benefits

• Educating new clientele on what our spa offers through spa tours

• Keep clients updated on current promotions and discounts on services offered in the Spa

• Processing payments for services and products purchased by clientele

• Keep register of long and existing clients for them to enjoy benefits given to loyal customers

• Give appointments to clients on specific days

• Open and close the spa at the appropriate time

• Ensure that the front desk is clean and organized for free movement

• Assist in getting client feedback on level of services delivered in order to improve on service delivery

• Inform staff members of appointments that have been canceled by clients, and also alert staff members of the arrival of clients who come without prior appointments

• Assist in developing promotional events, which focus on increasing the clientele of the spa

• Manage the visitor register to keep record of people who visit the spa on a daily basis

• Receive customer complaints and feedback and direct them to appropriate offices for resolution

• Possess a strong knowledge of computers, including a spa POS system, internet and Microsoft Office Suite

Massage Therapist

Licensed massage therapists who are professional, talented, self-motivated, and highly customer service-oriented are encouraged to apply to The Flourished Spa. • Provide safe, effective, amazing massage therapies and body treatments

• Create and maintain professional relationships with spa guests

• Adhere to training given during initial employee period and quality standards set forth by the spa

• Maintain your treatment room in a presentable manner, ensuring sanitation standards are met and it is stocked

• Complete knowledge of all spa services, packages, promotions and retail products offered in the spa

• Make recommendations to clients about their skin care needs, including additional spa treatments and at-home protocols

• Attend team meetings as scheduled by the spa leadership

• State massage therapy license

• Flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings

Licensed Acuputurist

We are looking for an acupuncturist to be responsible for performing acupuncture on patients. The responsibilities of an acupuncturist include preparing herbal treatments, collecting the medical history of patients, and treating patients using needles and other tools.

To be successful as an acupuncturist, you should demonstrate compassion, possess knowledge of laws and regulations, and a strong interest in alternative medicine. Ultimately, a top-notch acupuncturist should be accredited, equipped with proven acupuncturist experience, and strong analytical skills.

Acupuncturist Responsibilities:

• Treating patients with needles, cups, ear balls, seeds, pellets, and supplements.

• Preparing herbal treatments to treat patients.

• Assessing patients to make diagnoses.

• Collecting medical histories.

• Developing treatment plans.

• Analyzing physical findings and medical records to make a diagnosis.

• Monitoring progress.

License Esthetician

We are in search of a licensed esthetician who is passionate about skincare and providing personalized services to every guest. They are talented, professional, self-motivated, and highly customer service-oriented. Enthusiasm for skin is a must!

Responsibilities:

• Provide professional facial treatments (that include cleansing, exfoliation, massage, treatment, and masks) according to training given during initial employee period and according to quality standards set forth by the spa.

• Perform advanced skin care treatments, such as peels, microdermabrasion, microcurrent treatments, and LED light therapy

• Perform face, scalp, and shoulder massages for therapeutic and relaxation purposes

• Learn about all of our products

• Make recommendations to clients about their skin care needs, including additional spa treatments and at-home protocols

Certified electrologist

Electrologists are beauty or medical technicians who specialize in treating unwanted hair by destroying the growth centers of individual hairs. An electrologist inserts a very fine needle into the natural opening of the hair follicle and applies a small amount of electricity in order to destroy the dermal papilla and other hair growth cells. Over multiple sessions, the electrologist will eventually target all of the hair follicles in a given area. They are talented, professional, self-motivated, and highly customer service-oriented. Enthusiasm for skin is a must!

Here at the Flourished Spa we use a galvanic electrolysis, which uses a direct electrical current to cause a chemical reaction that degrades the follicles until they’re incapable of regrowing hair. Proven, reliable, and effective, the galvanic method is also incredibly slow, which is the main reason it has fallen out of favor.

Responsibilities:

• Carry out electrolysis treatment as per the Furless Treatment Protocol which follows the high hygienic standards of UAE.

• When doing treatment, gloves and mask must be worn, hair must be tied back in a bun at all times and no jewelry's is allowed.

• A new pair of gloves and mask must be put on in front of the client.

• A sterilized tweezer must be opened in front of the client.

• A brand-new probe must be opened in front of the client before doing treatment.

• Your skin must be protected and never touch the client’s skin (e.g. wear gloves, place tissue in between two parties, etc)

• Your nails must be short and clean, no nail polish is allowed.

• Use a new paper bed sheet for each client.

• Record each treatment on the treatment chart in the software, before end of each working day.

• The treatment room must be maintained clean, adhering to the high standard of the UAE law.

• The probe must be immediately disposed into the medical box after each treatment. Failing to dispose the probe may incur in getting fined by municipality. The electrologist will be responsible for the full amount of the fine.

• The tweezer will be put into the sterilizer when not in use.

• Dispose the bed sheet paper and any other disposable paper used during the treatment into the bin.

• Sterilize all equipment that you have used and will need to use for another client.

• Convince the client to book her next appointment.

• Inform the CRM about those clients that are not coming as regular as they should.

• Always communicate with the CRM about anything related to the treatment.

• Always communicate to the Branch Manager/Branch Supervisor about your days off, working hours, leaves, etc.

• Communicate with the Branch Manager/Branch Supervisor any ideas that you may have that might improve the business in any way (treatment, communications, etc.).

Lash Technician

 A lash technician, also known as an eyelash technician or lash artist, specializes in the application of semi-permanent eyelash extensions. These extensions are applied to the natural lashes to enhance the length, thickness, and fullness of the eyelashes.

The duties and responsibilities:

• Consult with clients to determine the best length, thickness, and style of eyelash extensions to suit their desired look and face shape.

• Prepare the work area by sterilizing and sanitizing tools and equipment and setting out the necessary supplies.

• Measure and cut eyelash extensions to the appropriate length and thickness.

• Isolate and secure a single natural lash with a small amount of glue, and attach the extension to the natural lash using tweezers.

• Repeat the process for each natural lash, working from the outside corner of the eye inward to create a full, natural-looking set of eyelashes.

• Monitor the progress of the eyelash extension application, making any necessary adjustments to ensure a balanced and symmetrical look.

• Educate clients on how to care for their eyelash extensions, including how to clean them and avoid pulling or rubbing them.

• Remove eyelash extensions safely and gently using a specially formulated remover.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

• Keep up to date with the latest techniques and trends in the eyelash extension industry by attending training workshops and seminars.

• A high school diploma or equivalent.

• Completion of a cosmetology or esthetician program, which may include training in eyelash extension application.

• A valid cosmetology or esthetician license, as required by state law.

• Good manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination.

We are looking to hire a detail-orientated nail technician to provide clients with high-quality manicures, pedicures, and nail treatments. The nail technician’s responsibilities include welcoming and greeting clients, ordering new nail supplies as needed, and answering clients’ nail-related questions. You should also be able to build and maintain relationships with clients to encourage repeat nail appointments.

To be successful as a nail technician, you should maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation at all times. Ultimately, an outstanding nail technician should be able to keep abreast of the latest nail products, trends, and techniques to ensure that clients are satisfied with the services provided.

Nail Technician Responsibilities:

• Providing high-quality manicures and pedicures, which includes removing old nail polish from fingernails and toenails, cleaning nails, shaping the ends of nails, pushing back cuticles, and applying new polish based on clients’ preferences.

• Applying artificial nails.

• Recommending various nail designs and nail art to clients.

• Evaluating the condition of clients’ nails and advising them on proper nail care and suitable nail care treatments.

• Sanitizing all nail instruments and equipment before each use.

• Ensuring that workstations are kept clean and orderly.

• Providing quality hand and foot massages.
